UAE Trademark Search
Before registering a trademark in the UAE, conducting a comprehensive trademark search is an essential step. This process helps ensure that your proposed trademark does not infringe upon any existing registered trademarks in the UAE. The UAE operates under a “first-to-file” system, meaning the first person or entity to register a trademark has the exclusive right to use it.
A trademark search involves reviewing the UAE’s trademark database to check for similar or identical trademarks that might create conflicts. This proactive measure reduces the risk of rejection during the registration process and helps you avoid potential legal disputes in the future..
